The planet-wide Breaking Bad series could get another sequel

The planet-wide Breaking Bad series could get another sequel. Heisenberg's son Walter Junior could become the new gangster from Albuquerque.
Breaking Bad is such a series that even the creators of Game of Thrones would be ashamed of. It is, according to both critics and audiences, one of the best drama series in television history. The success of the so-called spin-offs, namely content based on Breaking Bad characters and events such as "Better Call Saul" and "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie", supports this.

It is likely that we will be watching a brand new series of Breaking Bad in the future, with Heisenberg's son in the lead role. As loyal fans of the series know, Walter Junior, the son of the main character, played 27-year-old RJ Mitte. The actor recently stated that he is ready for his own series, where his character will continue his father's legacy and become a gangster himself.

"He is the son of his father, as evidenced by his decisions and value system to protect his family. I would love to see my character, Walt Jr., play the role of a gangster," Mitte says.

Mitte has already introduced his idea of the new series to Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad, and if given the green light to shoot the series, success is almost guaranteed.

Just two years after Breaking Bad ended, AMC's parent network gave Bob Odenkirk, who interpreted lawyer Saul Goodman, his own series called "Better Call Saul." The series proved to be a huge hit.

On the Rotten Tomatoes website, intended to rate and criticize movies and series, Better Call Saul has a commendable 97 percent recommendation. The fifth season is yet to air and AMC has already approved a series extension (UNILAD).

As for Netflix's El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, whose work follows Heisenberg's partner, Jesse Pinkman, it has been viewed more than 25 million times in the first week alone. The success of these series is testament to the popularity of Breaking Bad, which has not waned even six years after the series ended.
