Listen to the live performance of the legendary Jimi Hendrix's "Ezy Ryder"

The Jimi Hendrix Blues-rock band, called Band Of Gypsys, have released a live performance of their song "Ezy Ryder".
This group held four historic New Year's concerts at the Fillmore East Hall in New York in 1969 and 1970.

The recordings have never been available in their entirety, and some of the songs from these performances have never been released in any format. The release is a testimony to their first appearance in the New Year's 1969/1970 series.

Band of Gypsys was formed after the breakup of Experience. It consisted of Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox, and Buddy Miles. The lyrics of "Ezy Rider" are inspired by the 1969 film of the same name.

Jimmy Hendrix's music is as important today in the 21st century as it was in the 20th century, as Jimi has influenced the lives of many. It inspired all young people who are lovers of peace and justice, but also those musicians who were looking for a new direction in music.
